Coyland Creek
Coyland Creek in northwestern Wisconsin has a rich history that started with Mitch Coyour growing up on a generational dairy farm called Coyland Farms. Although he had no interest in milking cows for his entire life, Mitch loved the peaceful country atmosphere of Coomer, Wisconsin. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers.
In 2007, guests and locals began asking if they could host weddings, corporate events, graduations, and other gatherings at Coyland Creek. To accommodate these requests, Mitch and Kelsie expanded their event space by adding an outdoor pavilion in 2008. This addition allowed them to host weekly events with seating for up to 300 guests.
As the business continued to grow, Coyland Creek added more amenities. They improved their sporting clay courses and bird fields and transformed an old farm pasture into a lush 11-acre mowed grass area with beautiful gardens. In 2012, they built the Northwoods Lodge to provide lodging for guests traveling from afar.
In addition to hosting events and offering lodging accommodations, Coyland Creek has also expanded its offerings with the Coyland Country Market where they sell canned goods, fresh meats, fruits, veggies, fudge, and more. They also opened The Feather Shed boutique for women's clothing and Shotgun Willy's as a gun and ammo shop.
With its versatile event space and diverse range of activities and amenities, Coyland Creek continues to be a premier destination for retreats, weddings, outdoor adventures, and offsite events in Wisconsin.
